Music at St Anselm's

St Anselm’s has a wide-ranging music programme that includes Gospel VoicesYoung Voices and instrumental ensembles.

On Sundays at 10am, there is a small choir at St Anselm’s under the direction of Jack Wong.  We are looking to build up the choir to make it more vibrant and to better reflect the lively nature of the church.  Our mission is to inspire more people in the congregation to participate in more musical activities, so that through the music we could get close to God.  Music is especially important At St Anselm's for the services of Christmas, Holy Week and Easter so please do check back at those times.

At St Anselm’s, there are also several concerts in the year to enable the public to enjoy some great music in a wonderful atmosphere and venue.

The St Anselm's organ was built by Alfred Hunter and Son.  It is a ten stop instrument with mechanical key and stop action.  It is voiced in the English romantic tradition, benefits from a generous acoustic and is in excellent condition.
