The object of the Boys’ Brigade is “The advancement of Christ’s kingdom among boys and girls and the promotion of habits of obedience, reverence, discipline, self-respect and al that tends towards a true Christian manliness.”

Whilst the object seems a little old fashioned, we are the oldest uniformed youth organisation in the UK and the 4th London is one of the oldest companies in London having been formed in 1892. We may be one of the oldest companies in London but our current programme of activities is designed to appeal and be relevant to young people growing up today.

Activities include:
●      Cooking
●      Craft
●      Gaining Life Skills
●      Playing Sports
●      Days Out
●      Camps
●      Competitions

All members are encouraged to take part in all activities, make friends and develop into responsible teenagers and adults whilst respecting each other, our opinions and our experiences. Activities are tailored to the relevant age group and all age groups take part in the devotions which take place every week and give the group a chance to learn about the Christian faith and what it means to them.

Boys’ Brigade is open to both boys and girls aged between 5 and 15 and more information about the 4th London can be found on our Facebook Page.

For more information about Boys’ Brigade in general, please visit the BB website.

We are always looking for people who would like to volunteer their time to help with the group in various capacities. If you feel that this is something you could do and would like to find out more about the roles available, please get in touch.
