Our Local Partners

St Anselm’s engages actively in many aspects of local community life.

Our Lambeth Parish Mission Fund gives 100% of donations to charitable causes that we strongly believe in. Over the last two decades, our congregation and our community engagement have grown hand-in-hand.

Below are some of the projects and partnerships we organise and support.

Bouquets and Beans

St Anselm’s is proud to support Bouquets & Beans.

Born out of social enterprise, Abraham and his team have a huge place in our community. A former youth worker, working the stall outside St Anselm’s church turned into a full-blown passion for Abraham. We are very grateful for the beautiful sights and smells Bouquets & Beans brings to our Church

HAPPY BABY COMMUNITY

Our charity partners Happy Baby are a community of support for women who have fled from violence or traffickers, and are pregnant or with a young child and are seeking international protection in the UK.

CHRISTIAN AID

Christian Aid exists to create a world where everyone can live a full life, free from poverty. St Anselm’s actively supports Christian Aid with action and prayer.

Every year we raise thousands of pounds for the charity with collections, moveable feasts, auctions and jumble sales, as well as individual sponsored activities. Christian Aid week takes place in May.

EVELINA

The Evelina Children’s Hospital is located in the North East corner of our Parish, near Lambeth Palace.

Suzette, our Childrens’ & Families Minister spends time in Evelina each week as a hospital chaplain. Every year we partner with the Black Prince Public House, to organise Easter and Christmas gift collections for the Children who are staying in the Evelina during these festivals.
