Safeguarding at St Anselm’s

St Anselm’s Church takes the safeguarding of children, young people and adults with known additional safeguarding needs very seriously.

If you have any concern about the safety or wellbeing of a child, young person or adult, please contact our Parish Safeguarding Team as soon as possible.  These concerns will always be dealt with quickly and sensitively.

St Anselm’s Church SAFEGUARDING Team

  • Reverend Sally Hitchiner (Rector)

  • Rodney Ovenden (Parish Safeguarding Officer)

  • Kerry Glencorse (Parish Safeguarding Officer)

  • Tekha Kidane (Parish Safeguarding Assistant Officer)

  • Patricia Knight (Parish Safeguarding Administrator)

You can reach the Safeguarding Team by emailing safeguarding@northlambethparish.org

We practice accountability within the team so that no one should make a safeguarding decision alone, and ensuring that we also hold all information with the appropriate care and discretion. If a matter is regarding something illegal or a situation of serious danger we will always include the safeguarding professionals at the diocese and the police as needed to ensure safety.

Our safeguarding policy can be found at North Lambeth Parish Safeguarding Policy (updated November 2024)
