Choral Mentor / Scholarship Programme

A choral scholarship with a difference: this new programme, made possible by generous funding from the Vinehill and Ouseley Trusts, is a chance to gain hands-on experience of music leading in a church and community context, work with and inspire children and young people, and explore a wide diversity of church music.

More than just a scholarship, it is a paid training in Christian community music-making, encompassing both high-quality choral singing and music education and mentorship.

This is an opportunity for aspiring choral singers and leaders to work alongside experienced professional musicians, develop skills across a range of musical roles, and to be part of a warm, creative church community.

Currently we have filled some but not all places for the scheme for September 2026. If you are interested, please apply as soon as possible and we will organise auditions on a rolling basis. We’re particularly looking for tenors and basses but are open to all voice parts.
