We're excited to be running the St Anselm's Holiday Club for the second time this year.

When: Wednesday 22nd - Friday 24th July, 9-3pm.

Where: Drop-off and pick-up at St Anselm's Church, Kennington Cross. We will walk the children down to Kennington Park and back in the afternoons for a picnic and cricket sessions.

Who's it for?: The holiday club is for children in KS2, i.e. who have just finished year 3, 4, 5 or 6 in school. You don't have to be a church member to attend.

How much does it cost? It costs £10 per child per day, or £25 for all three days.

What's going on?:

  • steel pans, with separate groups for beginners and those who have done it before

  • arts, crafts and faith activities - some Bible teaching and chance to reflect on what we believe in a friendly environment. This is designed to be inclusive for children with or without a church/ faith background - do reach out to us if you'd like to discuss further.

  • snacks included (bring your own packed lunch) - fruit, biscuits and squash will be provided in the morning and afternoon break.

  • games - we'll push the pews back to create space! Last year highlights included the big parachute and some floor-is-lava games with the church kneelers.

  • picnic lunch in Kennington Park

  • cricket sessions in the afternoon, provided for free by the Oval Dynamos programme.

A date for your diary… Parish trip to the seaside
