Moveable Feast for Christian Aid
This year’s popular annual feast will be on FRIDAY 25th SEPTEMBER, from 6pm to 10pm.
The feast contains 4 separate meal courses, with drinks and nibbles as a starter, a main course, dessert course, and finally teas, coffees and chocolates. The evening will begin at a house in Cleaver Square. Groups of 6-10 people will go to their main and dessert courses at different household venues in the locality. Alcohol and soft drinks are served at each course.
Vegan, vegetarian options and other dietary requirements are catered for.
Tickets must be bought in advance at £25 per head - or more or less depending on what you can afford - but keeping in mind that the recipients of Christian Aid’s work are sometimes extremely malnourished and may not be able to afford more than 1 meal per day. There is an opportunity to gift aid the money you spend on your ticket.
We are always looking for volunteers to host main and dessert courses in their homes if they live within walking distance of Cleaver Square and St Anselm’s. If you live at a greater distance you might still be able to prepare a course, then the food to be given to someone who lives nearby to serve in their home.
Please support this fund raising venture for this international charity which St Anselm’s has voted to support.
