Director of Music (Maternity Cover)

£37,500 FTE | 12–16 hours per week | November 2026 | Fixed-term, up to 9 months

St Anselm's is a vibrant, multicultural church where music is central to worship and community life.

We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic musician to lead our diverse programme of choirs, children's and youth music, worship and community music.

The role will oversee the first year of a new choral scholarship programme as well as line manage the Assistant Director of Music. The role has some flexibility, with responsibilities tailored to the agreed hours.

We are looking for someone with strong keyboard and choir-directing skills, as well as management and training capability, experience of church music, and the ability to inspire people of all ages and backgrounds.

This is a Christian ministry role and there is a genuine occupational requirement for the successful applicant to be a practising Christian.
