St Anselm’s Development Update

The demolition of Havilland House is underway by its new owner Rocco Homes and we expect the building to start being pulled down in early January. We anticipate some dust and disruption during this time but we’re looking forward to seeing the derelict site replaced with 9 new homes which will be sold in a year or so. There will also be a new parish centre with a community hall, toilets, kitchen, offices and storage.
Inside the church itself, we are glad that the heating is now fully installed and keeping us all warm during the services.
The next part of making our building fit for purpose will be starting to fix all the leaks in the roof, which we expect to start in January.
